Buddy Boo

Oh, Angus.  What a sweetheart you are.  Always smiling and being happy.  Only time you are not happy is when we put you in your crib.  What a crybaby!  Other than that, smiles all around.

Walking the tricycle

Angus was walking in circles with his little tricycle.

He watches Jonas ride around and tries to lift his little legs up to ride.

Soon, baby, soon!

Month 11

Dear Angus,

You turned 11-months old this month. I can't believe time has passed us by so quickly. I remember you being a tiny little 7-pound baby and now you are a whopping 24 pounder. You are heavy, but I thank you for helping me lose some weight and gain a little muscle in my arms. Much needed muscle.

You are a very beautiful baby always very happy, except at night, of course, I don't know what it is, but you are always mad at night. I have to hold you in front of my face and say, "Angus, get a hold of yourself, man, snap out of it." I don't, but if you understood what I said, maybe I would do that.

You crawl all around the house. Your favorite place to crawl to is the bathroom, where you enjoy sticking your little cherubic hands in the toilet. Gross! I catch you as your hands are about to go in and wash them, and you throw a little tantrum. Brother and I think your tantrums are funny.

You lay yourself down slowly on the carpet and cry when you don't get your way.

The other day, Jonas wanted a drink of water and you were holding your sippy cup. Jonas said, "I want Angus' water," then he tried to grab it from you and you, little Mr., didn't let him get it. You twisted your little body away from him and made sure it did not leave your hands. I thought that was awesome! You are sticking up for yourself. If you could speak, I'm sure you would tell brother to get his own water.

You have a big appetite and will eat just about anything we put in front of you. Someone said, "He just shovels it in." It's funny, 'cause it's true!

I love it when you play with a ball. You pick it up, then throw it, then crawl to it, pick it up, throw, crawl... It's is very sweet!

I almost forgot your biggest accomplishment: YOU ARE WALKING!! The first week of March you were taking a few steps here and there, then one day, you took about six steps, then the next day you walked across the room, just like that!

Jonas says, "Come to brother, come to big brother," as you stare at him, about to take your next step, pondering what to do, then you walk another direction and leave brother with his arms open. Funny stuff!

Love,
Mama
